CROWDFUNDING NEWS – If you’ve ever wanted a powerbank for those times when your phone or other gadget runs out of juice but you’re nowhere near a power outlet, then you will want to check out the Pixy Mini powerbank.

What is it?

The Pixy Mini is a 5000 mAh, 18W PD input powerbank that has a footprint smaller than a credit card and has both a USB-A and a USB-C port so that you can charge two devices at the same time.

Why do I like it?

I like the Pixy Mini because it’s small enough to carry in your pocket or bag without taking up much space. I also like that the Pixy Mini features Qualcomm quick charge that can fast charge your phone from 0-60% in just 30 minutes.

They sent me a pre-production sample and I am impressed by the size and power of this little guy. I like that it has 2 ports and that there are 4 status LEDs that easily let me see how much juice is left in the powerbank itself.

I know that the Pixy Mini isn’t a power user type of powerbank that can recharge 5 devices 15 times. But that’s not what it’s for. It’s for light EDC and emergency recharging without weighing you down.
